Yeah we attract a certain amount of attention, but it's nice putting a smile on people's faces. Our twins are non-indentical; we got a boy and a girl. Lovely. We also get a lot of "OMG twins- that must be hell!" comments, but I know quite few couples with just the one child who have it much harder than us.
Just in case you are inclined to attempt the removal of any excess mucous by sucking it out (not very pleasant, trust me), Boots now sell a specially designed sucker with a sort of bendy straw on the end for just this purpose... (but then, I'm sure you already knew that!)
We've had one for ages, it's in the shape of a bird- not that either twin found that comforting. I call it the "snot penguin". Our twins are old enough for us to use anti-congestant drops now though.
