I do like the fact that the specs aren't awful, if fact I would say they pretty good and in keeping with how light the original game was.

For a couple of quid more, may as well get the delux. If it wasn't for the fact that Tripwire do seem to make an effort with events and things I wouldn't bother. I shall put my money where my mouth is.

Plus the strawberry floating bowler hat.

Those lucky sons of bitches that got the beta keys should look at updating as Tripwire have released an update and will continue the Beta for a few more hours.

This sounds like a disaster in steam discussions forum, I may buy it after my holiday, but not sure 20k online right doesn't seem huge??

My only problems are no private server and no sharpshooter.

Agreed, that and the Explosives, i enjoyed that one.

Apparently they have a separate class for pistols now too which sounds good.

Really enjoying this game though. Game runs fantastically, hit no major bugs yet really. Love the ability to dismember zeds in so many different ways plus the way they run at you now in later rounds.

I think some people are experiencing a bad shower of dicks however they are a vocal minority.

Regarding the 20k online those will mainly be the diehard fans, most will hold off till a friend or two convince them it's worth splashing the cash or wait to play till the first few patches are out.

One of the issues that are having is

There are not enough dedicated servers for the amount of players attempting to join multiplayer games. We are working to have more put up (and you can host your own - see the link below).

I've handed over my dosh. Will we be able to play online with each other in public servers? I'll probably be on Mumble from about 9 tonight in case anyone wants to play.

Watched a 2hour stream of this a couple of weeks ago from Eurogamer dude Ian Higton. Looks pretty enough but the zombies are all in the nip which is odd. It also falls into the trap of ripping off Left4Dead uber Zombie types, Bloaty zombie that spits acid? check. Shrieking zombie that attracts others? check. Tank Zombie that takes ages to put down? check.

Its not the first game to do this of course but its a little more blatant seeing as this almost looks likes its a mod of L4D. 6 player co-op though does look interesting, I just dont like the actual style of the game, its gorgeous looking but having skeleton zombies and skinned zombies makes it more of a Doom type game rather than an actual apocolypse like L4D feels like. The death metal is atrocious but I do hate such music.
