My 2.5 HD Remix didn't arrive yesterday. So sad.

That being said this gives me excuse to try beat Re:CoM, sadly I had to re-do some stuff because for some reason my save was re-rolled back to earlier date =( Oh well. Just got past Riku#2 fight, not looking forward to fighting Ice Shield guy again... ugh. I'm so bad at Re:CoM.

I finished Re: CoM last week and still not sure if I liked it. When it's good, you feel like a total bad-ass though. Sonic Blade 8-)

Picked up 2.5 today. Got a few games to clear first, so I don't know why I picked it up, but I have this anxiety that it'll only be a one print run and I'll never see it again.

Excited though, I haven't played KH2 in about 7 years.

did you play both stories? Riku was ridiculously over powered

Going to complete Xillia 2 first than onto 2.5 Final Mix

Not going to start with KH2 as I played it not too long ago so will replay BBS first

I've beaten Sora's side yesterday and started new game, as Riku.

It's pretty easy so far, no deaths and I'm on B7F at the moment. Love how overpowered Riku is  edit: Okay, Wonderland Boss isn't that easy. Died twice  Low value cards makes it difficult boss fight D:

Yup, though there are times where it's better not to and focus on breaking the cards as well use the duel system.

I've beaten Riku today (I stayed up till 7AM  ) and only Wonderland boss (but once I learned not to stack cards and focus on duel/breaking the cards he becomes easy) and last boss gave me any trouble, and even so it's nowhere bad as Sora's where I died so many times while I only died 4 or so times as Riku (Of course I exited to menu every time I died, so I can get Undefeated trophy :shifty: )

But man, it feel so good being overpowered and kicking these bosses' asses who gave me lot of trouble as Sora. I will have to come back later and re-play KH ReCOM for rest of trophies, not now though.

Now for 358/2 cutscenes. Looking forward to it considering I don't really like the game much but loved the story.

Is there a lot more story as Riku? I couldn't figure out if it was a new game+ sort of thing, or intended as part of the main game, so left it for now.

It's a completely different story. It tells what Riku does while Sora and the gang are traveling through the castle. It's not as long and takes about 15 hrs

I didn't mind the game, it got repetitive but it was still good

I'd really recommend starting Riku's side, it's completely different game to Sora's (other than locations) and it's great fun to be overpowered :shifty:

That's 358/2 Days watched, will start Kingdom Hearts 2 soon :D Think I'll just start on Standard difficulty - will go back to it and do it on Proud difficulty after new years.

Is there a package other than the obscenely priced LTD Edition that has both 1.5 & 2.5 in one box?want the pair but seems odd buying separately. Cant wait to start these again, don't think ever finished 2 due to a bug :dread:

Started BBS

Forgot how much I loved the battle system and story. Shame the camera seems all over the place. Remember it being easier on the PSP, I think it had an autocamera :dread:

I have to give credit to Square-Enix the transfer from PSP to PS3 has been done pretty well (apart from characters hands sometimes)

Forgot how good Ven's story is I am glad I saved it for last.

I do love all the worlds........ Not Disney Town though

Disney Town can strawberry float off!

Searching for chests and to hear this repeating over and over just drives me crazy!
Not to mention that the mini games are awful.

I finished Kingdom Hearts Final Mix recently and started Chain of Memories (currently up to floor 11 of the castle), KH is the only game in the series I have finished or even played extensively until now and despite the simple beginnings I understand that the story gets pretty convoluted as the series went on. With this in mind I have a question, if each floor of Castle Oblivion is based on Sora's memories then how come you battle Heartless that he hasn't previously fought? If the answer to this is gonna be too spoiler laden then I guess I can wait to find out as I play through more of the games.
