Having been playing a lot of Sly 4 recently I was wondering if it would be the last mascot action platformer from Sony, but good to see they have a new IP in mind a long those lines.

Mark Cerny is the games director, I trust him to deliver a solid game.

Some of the clips they showed reminded me of what we've seen of The Wonderful 101.

Of course with a game like this the game design is king. At the moment we don't know if it'll be up there with Jak and Daxter or more of a Blinx failure.

The trailer looks like it has lots of gimmicky 3D in it.

If Sony want a mascot they should just buy the Crash Bandicoot licence, the IP has gone to strawberry float it wouldn't be hard for Sony to bring it back and rebuild it, hell if they did that it might make people care about the game again as Crash is still seen as a playstation character and most people have only played the PS1 games.

Just cannot understand why they used this as their initial show-off of the PS4.

IP and longevity wise, it'll might be something like Kameo was when 360 launched. An okay game made for a new console launch that we will never, ever see again.

The initial trailer made it seem like a Sony Batallion Wars and I was really interested, then they semi showed off some gameplay (or sort of) when they mentioned the sharing thing and it looked awful :/

I just bought Batallion Wars when I split with the ex and she bought me out my half of the Wii. I've never played it :lol:
