Deserved it's own thread :)

Create a New Zealand account, go on the PSN store there and it's free for some reason- I've got it downloading now- 35gb.

Pop it while it's hot and all that.

EDIT:
Now free in France and Italy too... possibly places where it's after 12pm... they giving this away on purpose?

Now free in Norway too. Been like this for over two hours- if it was an error you'd think it would have been stopped by now?

SCEE is headquartered out of London so the time they get out of bed, find the keys, wake the security guard up, turn the lights back on, and then the fire alarm will probably go off...nightmare.

'Content cannot be selected at this time' for me on UK PSN. Looks like they've pulled the plug. :(

It's still showing as available to pre-order on the website for me, just prompts that I need to pay immediately, no message about cannot be selected at this time.

There are 2 options for the game. The first shows the screen you have posted and the second takes you to the content cannot be selected at this time error screen. I'm guessing this was the one that was up as free.

Re above.

It has now come back as selectable. Add to cart £29.99. Er, I'm out. :)

Good work to those quick enough to snag as a freebie though. Wonder if Sony will lock the download retrospectively though if that's even possible/legal?!

Clicking on the game in the Search results just gave me that screen, I never saw any other options.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just revoke the licenses. Microsoft have done that a few times when things were accidentally listed for free I think.

If you managed to download it in time you could disconnect the PS4 from the internet, therefore temporarily stopping Sony from doing anything.

Yep, I think clicking 'add to cart' would have been about the totality of my efforts to get this for free.

Free game does things to people  I should know as it happened to me recently. (Can't recall which game it was, though...)

So the only people who were possibly going to pay to get Knack 2 have now managed to get it for free? Oh Sony

Why have people suddenly decided Knack 2 is so terrible?
Isn't it reviewing ok?

The 10 seconds of the demo that I played were not enjoyable, which I think is a fair indicator that the entire game is lameo weaksauce crapcrap.

The demo is quite poor (imo), so decided not to buy anytime soon.
