Great stuff, these videos. That one with the Karate Kid was strange, since he was stood there in the pose, then when it actually got to the fighting, he just flailed his arms until "Frankie" went down. Maybe not though, maybe it was just the quality of the video that made me think that.

But here's a fact - the guy with the least amount of hair on his head always wins. Unless the other guy has a very calm demeanor. Then GTFO quick.

Whilst having a specific martial art is a big bonus if you do get into a scrape it is ALL about speed and decision making! The happy slapping video where that guy takes out the 2 lads who hit the girl he was with is a prime example. If you watch it, the guy does not hesitate but just wades straight in and the 2 lads are totally dumbstruck and confused. If you can create confusion and surprise in your enemy you are half way there.

Agreed. I feel for the guy, pretty hard fall. And when you're that old, fall like that and you're shafted for months.

He broke his jaw in three places but recovered. Pretty strawberry floated at the time though.

I think it was probably more the 3 punches while he was on the deck that caused the jaw breakage. I thought there was rules against that.

It does seem a little like one of those 'lucky' one in a million punches there, but even for UFC was it really necessary for him to batter him when on the ground...blatantly he'd been knocked for six. Skillful knockout or not...
