If only there was someone else in Nirvana who could play the role of front man in a major stadium-filling international rock band.

This is up on the you tubes now. Saw the first couple of minutes before my phone signal went. It seemed to all be original stuff rather than bastardised Nirvana covers though. Anyone else see it yet?

Big fat meh. Was surprised at how energetic McCartney's voice is. Haven't heard anything from him from after the seventies. Isn't he in his seventies himself by now?

i heard the voice of god in my head so i grabbed a rock in a fashionista way

Always entertaining to see Dave Grohl on the drums. He is basically a real life Animal from The Muppets.

Did anyone really think they were going to do Nirvana covers?

I mean Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic... these guys have been all over the place. The Nirvana guys in particular have moved way on. It would be pretty incredible if they were to retread their own old ground with a super old dude from a totally different scene.

*shrug face*

The way I'd seen it reported the day before, it was like they expected it to be Nirvana feat. Paul McCartney.

Glad it wasn't.
