The funny thing about this is that the only thing that wasn't broken in LA Noire was the visuals.

"Cop runs over 75 people, flees" amazing

How did I forget the dialogue option of "doubt" that was actually "accuse"

I never got this back in the day so I may get it on Xbox One to give a go, depending on what the price is like.

IIRC the best one was where you think the poor, abused underage young girl isn't telling you the whole story. "Doubt" is your only option....expect a gentle(ish) push for more info.

"You lying whore! You WANTED IT didn't you? Begged him to screw you rough. You're scum. That's what happened!!!! ISNT IT YOU SLAPPER"

Or close to that.

Adventure games are my fave genre and even I thought this was a bit awful. It is like the Sherlock Holme games, but worse.

I enjoyed what I played of the original version but got pretty bored very early on and gave up. I'm not sure I'd be interested in a remaster/port or whatever this turns out to be.

That's a very good point. Anyone vaguely interested in this should get SH: Crimes and Punishments....(and to a lesser extent Devil's Daughter, but it's a step down)

L.A. Noire for the Nintendo Switch features the complete original game and all additional downloadable content, with specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.

Great to see they're making full use of Switch's capabilities and play modes, hope other games follow this path.

I thought this was mediocre as hell. The facial animations were great for their time though.

Does anyone want this? What the strawberry float are they thinking?

I remember really enjoying the game until I realised nothing you did in the cases affected the outcome pf the story and the world looked great but there was absolutely nothing to do in it.

It strange that this wasn't Red Dead Redemption instead, especially with the sequel coming out...

I enjoyed the original, but wouldn't bother going back to a remaster. Pass.

Kind of, I mean there's no doubt this is coming cos RDR2 was delayed. Having said that, the X1 back compat version runs better than the 360 version and to be honest, it still looks pretty stunning.

I'm annoyed this isn't coming to back compat cos it would be cheaper. Not least because Rockstar seem to like the BC program, so much so they patched GTA IV to run better on X1 themselves, several years after its original release.
