Having said that, the Doubt bit is absolutely brilliant, and worth watching that vid for alone.

It's funny but it's a gooseberry fool parody as most of the jokes actually have no basis in the reality of the game.

I dunno, quite a lot was. The only thing that was majorly exaggerated was the whole walking thing. But even then there were times when playing it that it would happen :x

Really?

Also the stepping over the body thing... Erm, what do you expect him to do? Step on it??

I was really enjoying this but had to put it aside for a little while after completing the homicide desk and now that I've gone back to it I just feel terribly bored. I'm hoping that it's just until I get back into it but after two attempts it's not seeming likely. It's a shame I ever had to stop playing as doing so has spoilt my experience, but it couldn't be helped.

Where's this new DLC got to then? Was hoping it would be out today as I have a day off work.

This game really is so much better when played in black and white, the atmosphere is just awesome.

Is Leland Monroe voiced by the same guy that did the introductory archive packages in Medal of Honor Frontline? Sounds very familiar.

According to Wikipedia the only video game John Noble had done before this was The Saboteur. He's most famous for being Denethor in Lord of the Rings and Walter in Fringe. He's amazing in Fringe.

There should be a little room somewhere where he keeps all his gooseberry fool. In that room is a door to outside. You walk down a path towards the house.

That original question should have probably been put in a spoiler box as well.

Incredible video of the facial motion capture

Why did L.A. Noire take 7 years to make? A selection of anonymous interviews from inside Team Bondi. Sounds appalling, I'm sure achieving something great doesn't have to be done at the poor treatment and expense of so many people. If employees are constantly leaving and new ones regularly being brought in to replace them there's clearly something wrong. Very sad really as they've made something amazing despite what sounds like terrible management.

An artist with 12 years professional experience recalls, "They created a below-junior position; 'graduate junior', I think, so they could pay less and push people around." Team Bondi was the first – and last – game development company that he worked for. "I don't want another job in the game industry because of my experience [at Bondi]. Most of the [artists] I know who worked there, never want to work in games again."

Another source who left the company in 2008 called his experience at Team Bondi the biggest disappointment of his life. "I left because of stress and working conditions, mainly. But the trigger was this: I received a reprimand for 'conduct and punctuality' for being 15 minutes late to work. I arrived at 9:15am – despite the fact I had only left work around 3:15am the same day, and paid for my own taxi home! I never would have thought you could put a sweat shop in the Sydney CBD."

My thoughts on the game though - I loved it, and it's incredible in many ways, but towards the end I really felt like I was forcing myself to finish the game and I did stop enjoying it, I just wanted to know what happened in the story.

I got this for my birthday on Friday (thanks all for not making a thread about it etc [/bitch]), and while I haven't played it, I'd just like to say that a Shutter Island-style DLC case would be amazing here.

McNamara just comes off as the biggest strawberry floating troll there. "Yeah I screamed at employees in front of the whole office and had a turnover in the hundreds. U mad bro?" What a tool.

This is exactly what has happened to me. Homicide started off great but then proceeded to be so reptitive - Investigate crime scene, go to bar, go to boyfriend, interrogate, case closed. It went on for far too long doing the exact same thing

I really hope Arson picks up when I decide to go back to it

Loved the game, but I now feel guilty about buying it. Now knowing the sweatshop working conditions of the people who worked on it.

I'm going to remedy this by tafloading the PC one. 8-)

Technically I didn't pay for the game since I am renting, although I supposed I paid for part of the game by proxy.

Is there anyway to skip the incredibly boring driving parts? Some of them drag on way too long and I find myself just raking it because I can't be arsed fallowing the rules and giving away for other cars.

Hold Y and your partner drives instead, skipping you straight to the destination.

Hold it down longer? Great. It seemed to let him drive on some occasions for no reason. I don't have the manual so I couldn't figure it out.
