Not very good at deciding laptops, my old HP is 9 years old. All I want is something to do office work, store pictures, music and videos and internet browsing

Are acer laptops any good? Was looking at the below and adding a ssd drive to it

The second one looks better to me. But both of them look good to me. Acer are alright I think but I've never owed one. Do you know what you're going to be using it for? I just bought a 13" Asus M5 thing. It's the first laptop I've really enjoyed because it's small enough to fit in a bag and forget about.

You probably want to an SSD over a HDD.
