Our desktop is gimped so we are just looking for a cheap laptop, it only needs to be used for browsing the net and for the wife to do some office work on it. WiFi essential but no gaming will be done on it.

Any links to decent deals would be much appreciated.

Ps we have no interest in building our own.

Thanks

Newly added today 13th November, desperately need help and I know there are many knowledgable people on here.

I think all laptops have built-in wifi, but if not you can buy one of these for £8: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7811UN-Wireless-802-11b-150Mbps/dp/B003MTTJOY

Have you considered a netbook if you're looking to keep costs down? Or even a Chromebook?
