Laptop Worries

Hi guys, my laptop gave up the ghost entirely last night, it's probably completely knackered. So, I'm in the market for a new one.

Any recommendations? I don't need a top end gaming machine, I've got Steam but I only ever play stuff like HL2, Portal, Peggle, Tales of Monkey Island etc. Just something fairly cheapish that I can use to surf the web and use iTunes and stuff.

Any help would be appreciated! I'm useless with computers.

It just powered off last night. I took it to the IT bit on campus, he had a quick look and reckons its something to do with the motherboard. He'll get back to me but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

Just seen this on Hotdeals. It's an Acer (strawberry float off FE) though.

Dedicated Nvidia 9600M graphics card mean it'll play Source games well. And probably the majority of PC games too (even Crysis).
