Good film, strawberry floating awful choice of music for the end credits. One of the few recent cases where casting Tom Cruise in a big budget film made sense.
Nice to see an action film score without all the DURRRR noises that everyone started using after Inception
Watched it at the weekend, and was the first thing I said at the end of the film, what a terrible choice of track, really didnt fit at all. Really enjoyed it, also thought they set Cruises character up at the start of the film in a really similar way to Murray in Groundhog day, but maybe that was just me

5 Fairly amusing and much better that what I tried to watch....
Highlander -
2Has this aged badly or what?
I challenge anyone to try and watch this again. The music, the acting, bloody terrible. Started watching this with the kids on Saturday night and watched it as long as I could (about 20 minutes) but it hit maximum cringe level so we stopped and went with the film above.
I'm not having that, I watch Highlander once or twice a year and it's still as incredible now as it was in the 1980s.
The acting is terrible, not sure why he is dissing the Queen sound track though. The story is fantastic and has a great flow to it, but it is awfully executed. That was the case in the 80's though, so not a case of aging badly, but this is one of the 80's action films that really deserves a remake.
