Blade Runner (The Final Cut) - 9/10

Pretty damn awesome, just hope 2049 holds up as well as the reviews suggest.

I've not seen it but that has to be an exaggeration? Jared strawberry floating Leto is in it. If it's still amazing with him in it then I'm going to have change my whole belief system.

Get Out. What a unique film,I'd imagine that it merits a second viewing to spot all the stuff missed the first time round. Well done indeed Jordan Peele.

A+

What's up with Jared Leto? He's been in some very good movies - Fight Club, American Psycho, Requiem for a Dream, etc.

I'm just a bitter middle aged man that can't stand the fact that his bog standard average band are so popular, they're just so meh. Not the first big rock band to be successful despite being gooseberry fool so I should try to lighten up I suppose :toot:

If you are judging a movie based solely on an appearance by a boy from a band you don't like, then you sound more like a teenage girl than a middle aged man. ;)

A cure for wellness. Quite eerie how it had such similar scenes to the last movie I watched, Get out
a boy feeling guilt over a dead parent and a deer getting smacked by a car
.

Didn't enjoy it as much though as the fabulous Get out,but well acted, nicely shot and reasonably paced.

B+

I'm seeing blade runner on Monday. It's going to be better than the original. Not difficult obviously.

Blade Runner 2049 (IMAX 3D) - 9/10

Epic. Its got pretty much everything you could want from a new Blade Runner film.

IT (1990)- 7/10 Watched this as a movie and thought it was very good in places but was let down by failing to properly explain ITs powers.

Blade Runner 2049 7/10- Good movie masquerading as a great movie. Overly long and tries to be overly atmospheric to cover up a not so great plot. Would have much rather watched a film about replicatant rebellions which is brushed over in the intro text.
