It was a joke. Calm down dear.

Still a 6/10.

Opinions, eh?

Indeed. I mean, some people like the Transformers films. That remains a bigger mystery to me than people who give MM:FR 6/10.

Not by much though.

Don't like the Transformer movies either, even less than Fury Road. At least MMFR made sense, even though I found it not to be all that engaging.

Calling it Mad Max clearly was for marketing. Fury Road was definitely Charlize's movie, I agree with you on that note.

Wrong, but each to their own I guess.

Some very good action scenes

6/10

I know some people will rip you to shreds for that score, but id agree with it. I really failed to get the hype behind Fury road. I thought it was alright, not bad but didnt blow me away either, but all i heard at the time was BEST MOVIE EVER, which completely baffled me.

Never took much notice of any hype around the movie release and I'd completely forgotten about it until it popped up on my Netflix page.

Liked I said, some very good action scenes but on the whole pretty average and quite forgettable. Certainly not something I'd go out of my way to watch again.

Completely agree. After the amount of hype is heard about it being the greatest thing ever I was well up for it. I actually think it's some knack level meme where people pretend it's amazing at all times.

Very much so. I remember when Mystic River came out and won a bunch of awards, but I found it to be nothing more than a boring dredge through middle-Americain malaise. On the other hand I love Bicentennial Man, the goofy robot film starring Robin Williams and often cited as one of the worst films ever made.

Max is like the man with no name. He's the stranger to the world that the viewer relates to and experiences the story through. Furiosa is the main character of Fury Road, but Max is the lens through which we watch the events unfold. It allows for exposition that wouldn't make sense if the film had simply followed Furiosa. The same is true of Mad Max 2 and 3.

A very good point. *nods in agreement*

Can we add people who disliked Dredd to this group also?

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of people that didn’t like Dredd.

Dredd is one of the few films I can watch on repeat and never get bored, it's great

Baby Driver

Yeah, this was great fun. Snappy, stylish as strawberry float, well written and with a banging soundtrack. Not as good as Fury Road though.

8/10

Maybe not, but it has a much better main villain. Kevin Spacey really knows how to play a bad guy, god knows how he manages it.

Dredd is a great movie. Pity there is no news on a sequel or TV series follow up.

Yup. I was stunned at the middling reviews it got from a lot of critics.

I didn't like dredd at all. The guys stupid upside down mouth kept distracting me and it was a rebadged version of the raid, which is far superior in every way.

Baby driver was gooseberry fool too.
