Hot damn that was excellent. Amazing cast, great car chases & outstanding music. Jamie Foxx plays an excellent bastard & I hope this is the role that cause Jon Hamm to make it bigger in movies 'cos he was excellent too.

Edgar Wright's best film? Edgar Wright's best film.

If this movie somehow manages to top Hot Fuzz, that will be an achievement.

Rec 2 - 5/10

Wasn't that big into this one, not sure I like the whole religious angle they brought into it. Kind of a disappointing sequel to a movie I was a bit surprised by.

It's already been topped though :|

Alien Covenant

Seriously what the strawberry float was that?? I honestly don't even know where to begin. An absolute mess of a film. Favourite dumbass part was where the captain who was 100% distrustful of David is all like "sure okay, let me just stick my face in it" when David tells him to take a look at the facehugger pod. The Alien designs sucked and the CGI was horrible. The way people got infected and then an hour later had an Alien erupting from their back was stupid too, like no tension or build up or anything just get some Alien jizz in the ear and then give birth minutes later. The ship design was nice and some of the visuals were good, but id probably give it a 4/10 overall

Wonder Woman meh/10
Even my wife wasnt super impressed with this. It was alright, but didnt really grab me.

Get Out - 8/10

Really enjoyed this but it's hard to review without giving things away.

The House - 6/10 , it's no Step Brothers. But it has moments that are well written. The cast is excellent with randoms from Reno 911 and The Office. The pacing was well done but until the more out there moments it's a bit flat. It needed to really be braver ad the only funny bits were when they tried to shock. Worth a look when it's on tv.
Wish my image sig would work

Was gonna say, that doesn't read like a three star review, it reads like a four star one.

Three stars is sometimes better than four.

Spiderman Homecoming - 9/10

Definitely goes into my top few Marvel films, absolutely nailed everything a Spiderman film should be. Fantastic action, plenty of humour and all the cast are superb, especially Tom Holland and Michael Keaton.

Or when you go chasing those clicks by being deliberately contrarian.

Baby Driver

Good film. Go and see it. Reminded me of True Romance.

Baby Driver - 9/10.

It's fantastic and it's the best film out of all what I've seen this year so far.

Couldn't care less about the prospect of yet another Spiderman film.
