Glad to see Baby Driver getting a good reception. I haven't looked forward to a film like this for a long while. Must get along this weekend.

Split 8/10

Great script, great plot, great acting. Didn't really understand why Bruce Willis was hanging around at the end so thought I'd missed something but it turns out I just haven't seen Unbreakable.

Baby Driver (4DX) - 9/10

Obviously its just a great film, went to see it in 4DX on a whim more than anything, it was definitely worth it.

It hadn't occurred to me how random that ending scene would feel if you hadn't seen Unbreakable

Quantum of Solace - 7/10

It was enjoyable film except there were some shaky scenes which was a bit difficult to watch, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Hot damn that was excellent. Amazing cast, great car chases & outstanding music. Jamie Foxx plays an excellent bastard & I hope this is the role that cause Jon Hamm to make it bigger in movies 'cos he was excellent too.

Edgar Wright's best film? Edgar Wright's best film.

If this movie somehow manages to top Hot Fuzz, that will be an achievement.

Rec 2 - 5/10

Wasn't that big into this one, not sure I like the whole religious angle they brought into it. Kind of a disappointing sequel to a movie I was a bit surprised by.

John Wick - 8/10

+ Interesting premise
+ Main character that you're rooting for
+ Excellent gun fights
+ Decent fight scenes

So my wife is watching Wonder Woman and as avid House of Cards fans we note that Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) is in this film. The wife turns to me and asks me to find out what else Robin Wright has been in aside from HoC.

Did anyone else know that she was Jenny in Forrest Gump?! Absolutely could not believe it.

Despicable Me 3 - 5/10.

Actually very poor. No real funny moments, some good 80s. Music but the minions weren't really in it much and when they were they didn't amuse. Just felt very tired.

Loved part 2 and the Minions movie has some good moments but this was just very boring.

Went and saw Despicable Me 3 today with my family. :shifty:

I actually thought it was by far the best one. 8/10 for me. In contradiction to Gozilla above I was glad the Minions were in it less, because the main scene they were in was really funny.

Get Out - 8/10

Really enjoyed this but it's hard to review without giving things away.

The House - 6/10 , it's no Step Brothers. But it has moments that are well written. The cast is excellent with randoms from Reno 911 and The Office. The pacing was well done but until the more out there moments it's a bit flat. It needed to really be braver ad the only funny bits were when they tried to shock. Worth a look when it's on tv.

Very. That's a strong three stars, toyed with giving it four
