Train to Busan - 8/10. Quality zombie movie. The Koreans (South that is, they already have a horror show in real life in the north) know how to do horror!

He'll or High Water 7/10-. Nice tight film. Nothing special (maybe my expectations were too high and if I'd gone in without any I may have thought it an 8).

I think I gave the Bank Job (with Jason Staham) a 7 and I enjoyed them a similar amount.

Isn't that his actual accent?

I don't think so-he was born in Wales and grew up in Dorset I think

Watched Suicide Squad.

strawberry floating awful. Apart from Robbie being smoking it had nothing to recommend it. Don't get me started On Leto's take on the joker. So utterly abysmal. The brief bits of batman I saw thoroughly vindicated my decision to not watch batman Vs Superman.

It was alright. I was pretty baked and it didn't really hold my attention which isn't a good sign.

You get 8/10 for that pun.

Lego Batman

Starts off brilliantly, finishes brilliantly. Gets a bit weird in the middle but it's fantastic. Some of the cameos are great  Feels like "Lego Dimensions: The Movie" in places.

"what's the password?"
"IRON MAN SUCKS"

"Everyone at school calls me Dick"
"Kids can be so mean" :slol:

8/10

Hope they do a Batman Commentary on the bluray release that's just an extended version of him speaking over the opening :shifty:

Over the Hedge - 7/10

It was a good film, but the animation was a little dated though.

Blood Diamond - 8/10

I enjoyed it and it was a great film.

A slasher movie classic, a summer camp slasher with a focus on the kids rather than those charged with looking after them.

Brilliant soundtrack and the ending is up there with The Vanishing, The Mist and Old boy for being so jaw dropping my awesome.

Full HD movie is up on YouTube for those who like horror and/or a slice of 80s summer magic.

Just about to watch this.

I'm assuming the 4 further films aren't worth a watch ?

Part 2 and 3 are pure comedy horror. Think Child's Play sequels compared to the original. I love them both. Both have a really likeable cast like Friday the 13th sequels.

Not seen part 4 yet.

If you like the genre then try The Burning. The true king of summer camp slasher movies. Featuring George from Seinfeld.

Wish my image sig would work

Life on the Road - 6.5/10

I love the character of Brent and like the songs but the movie is a bit of a misfire. Some very funny bits but lots of flat bits as well. A shame.

Turns out I've seen The Burning.

Ended up watching Split today and it's awesome and didn't realise it's linked to another movie by the same director :)

Time to watch John Wick.

The Babadook.

Just when it appeared as if no one knew how to make horror films anymore, this low budget gem comes along and reminds horror fans it is possible to turn in a decent effort. Pretty suspenseful and something to remind everyone that blood, guts and cheap bits to make you jump is not what makes a horror film.

Ending could have been better but a stand out film in today's genre of horror.

There are real kids like that, I thought it was pretty realistic.
