Straight up racist. Butler gives a smackdown-speech to the film's villain which is him screaming that all brown people will have been wiped out in 1000 years, and that the white man is king.

Genuinely disgusting stuff.

I don't remember that bit.

The film literally tries to justify the use of drones to murder innocent people. It's an abomination.

Taf said 'Combat 18' out of 10, y'know, that thing on GRcade where people use a word or phrase instead of a score out of 10 to sum up their feelings on the film.

Knoy took this to mean '18/10', as in a really big score.

I thought it was quite droll.

Yes, but 18 is a very high mark to give such a vindictive, poisonous film.

I started watching Resident Evil: The final chapter. I saw about 20 mins before going to bed. Is it worth pursuing it any further as for what I watched was pretty much crap!

Sometimes a 17 is better than an 18.

The Resi films are absolutely atrocious, even the first one.

They definitely missed the boat with the first one. They so should have followed the first game's storyline (yes even include giant spiders, snakes and plants) but this whole 'Alice' thing?! I do have a guilty pleasure of watching the one with Nemesis in it, it's still shite, but still....

Fair enough that's my own ignorance showing, had never heard of Combat 18 before.

Take Shelter 8/10

Michael Shannon in particular was superb in this.

Get Out

Loved it! Hilarious at times and a good story to boot.

Don't go if you just want to be scared, because there's not a lot of that going on.

Think M Night Shyamalan meets Eddie Murphy.

It was sounding great until that last line. Now I am imagining it is like The Happening crossed with The Haunted Mansion.
