I'm avoiding reviews ahead of seeing it but, is it fun?

Very. That's a strong three stars, toyed with giving it four

Was gonna say, that doesn't read like a three star review, it reads like a four star one.

Three stars is sometimes better than four.

Spiderman Homecoming - 9/10

Definitely goes into my top few Marvel films, absolutely nailed everything a Spiderman film should be. Fantastic action, plenty of humour and all the cast are superb, especially Tom Holland and Michael Keaton.

Or when you go chasing those clicks by being deliberately contrarian.

Baby Driver

Good film. Go and see it. Reminded me of True Romance.

Baby Driver - 9/10.

It's fantastic and it's the best film out of all what I've seen this year so far.

Get Out - 9/10

Mysterious, gripping and brilliant.

Skyfall - 8/10

I don't know how many times I've seen Skyfall and I never got bored of it. It's one of my fave James Bond films.

Baby Driver 7/10

Liked it but didn't love it, trying to reflect back on why that is. Didn't think the characters were particularly memorable, felt like it was trying to hard at the start and the ending fell flat to me. The sudden change to Kevin Spaceys character made little sense in that time frame. It's a film I need to go back and watch. There was a lot going on with colour and how it related to scenes which I would love to hear more about.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

I'm not overly into superhero films and I've missed a fair amount of the MCU stuff but I had a really good time seeing this. I thought Tom Holland did a very good job.

Spider-Man Homecoming - 8/10

Loads of Spider-Man action, loads of 80s references. Lovely music. A ton of John Hughes nods and 3 good reveals which were kept out of the marketing.

Such a shame the action scenes and all their resolutions were in the trailer.

A very good movie which is very watchable.

Wish my image sig would work

Spiderman - Homecoming. I did enjoy the first reboot with Toby Maguire and it does feel like we've had too many reboots for Spiderman, but this felt truer to the humour of the comic I used to read back in the late 80s. No focus on how Spiderman becomes Spiderman so one less thing to put people off. The only real minus point IMO is the suit, if you've read the comic you'll know what I mean, but if you haven't it is great.

Little to fault this film - action and fun. Make mine Marvel.

A solid 8.

That's the second time I've seen Raimi's first Spider-Man referred to as a reboot. It was first major big screen adaptation of the series, how is it a reboot? Far as I'm concerned Homecoming is only the second
