I loved Blade Runner 2049.

But K is all like :simper: all the way, while I was screaming at him for show some damn emotions.

Better than the original? Not quite in my book but it’s as good as the first one.

Probably will change my mind when I rewatch them back to back.

Avengers: Infinity War - 8/10

Its a really good Marvel film and it has some really great moments in it...also some not so great moments. Although it does stand on its own, it also clearly will lead into the next Avengers film, I think what that ends up being will determine how I think about this film in the long run.

Its certainly a whole lot better than Age of Ultron, not as good as Winter Soldier. Its obviously bigger than Civil War, but like I said its ultimate success as a film will depend on the next one I think.

I'd probably agree with that actually - solid 8/10 from me. In the top tier of Marvel movies.

Saw Molly's Game and Happy Death Day on a plane.

Happy Death Day was better than I anticipated. I mean, in fairness I expected utter dregs but it was a pleasant way to pass the time. Not going to set the world alight but as mindless entertainment it was alright.

Molly's Game was a bit of a letdown. Apart from an Oscar for best supporting outfit going to everything that made Jessica Chastain's tits look like that, it just tried to accomplish too much. It had two or three plot avenues that, any one of which would have been interesting, but because it tries to do all three it ends up crowded and unsatisfying because nothing gets any resolution. Very similar to I, Tonya but nowhere near as good because it doesn't know which story to tell.

Happy Death Day was a pleasant surprise as well. The twist is a bit obvious.

I uttered the line that “The cake is a lie!” and my girlfriend didn’t get it.

Avengers: Infinity War - Fast-paced action, a non-stop barrage of effects, tons of super-heroes... good fun and I enjoyed it. [8].

I also agree with H!

Spacewalker 8/10 - far more engrossing, well presented and tense than the opening scene would lead you to expect.

Detroit 9/10 - strawberry floating hell :dread:

I enjoyed this one. The kid actors in it are also great, which is rare.

A great addition to the wider Conjuring universe.
