I like to think that you watched them all in one marathon sitting and that you thought "for my movie marathon, I want turtles, ghosts, Eminem and the holocaust".

Pin 1988 - 9/10

Forgotten 80s horror film. More of a psychological drama than horror. It the story of.... Well it's very odd. Basically a Dr has a human sized doll in his office and calls it Pin. Then things get weird.

The full film is on YouTube and is well worth a watch. Just creepy and weird.

Left Behind (2014), 3/10 it's not exactly a great film, but I wasn't terribly bored by it. So it could be worse.

Rambo 3 - 7/10

Almost like a more ridiculous retread of Rambo 2. I enjoyed it, but it's easily the worst one of the original trilogy, might even be the worst one in the entire franchise.

Rambo reboot up next.

Reboot is amazing. Rambo + machine gun scene is one of the best gun scenes ever filmed.

I love the first but the second is the one is my personal favorite. So over the top and the bow kills are perfect.

If they could somehow reshoot the reboot with real blood squibs instead of the cgi then it’d be incredible.

Yeah I love the machine gun bit in Rambo. It also has that brutal execution after that.

Jurassic Park : The Lost World

A bit of dumb fun.

If that girl can use her gymnastics to take on a pair of hangry raptors, she should of tried doing it on the T. rex when he was having a good sniff in her tent.

Them raptors should of eaten her, be a bit different than the usual “the kids save the day” bollocks.

3/5

Moana - 9/10

Watched this for the first time with the kids last night, it's pretty strawberry floating great isn't it?

Some top tunes to sing along to, a nice message about following your calling and going the extra mile to help others, and it looks bloody lovely throughout as well!

Also, who knew that The Rock had a decent set of pipes on him?

I'd been putting off watching it for a while but seeing some of the love it was getting on here was the thing that finally tipped me over to watching it!

Another victory for the GRcade influencers.

I enjoyed it more than First Blood Part 2, but it's still not a patch on the first movie.

Never actually seen the third one.

While the gymnastics bit was dumb, the worst part was that city bit at the end, it was tacked on, and so stupid Spielberg must have been drunk when coming up with it.

Geostorm - 7/10. Ludicrously acted, terrible accents, awful special effects, ridiculous set pieces. But it somehow works! Bonus point for the subtle Celtic reference with Gerry Butler as well.

I’m planning to watch that at some point this week. I’m hoping it’s as stupid as I’m expecting

The girl on the train. For the first half hour it was struggling to grab my attention but I'll glad I stuck with it as it was excellent. A real slow mover but a really good story and some fabulous acting.

It totally merits the award of mint with a touch of Orange.

I've rewatched all the Jurassic Park/World movies this week rated as follows:

JP>JW>TLW>JP3>FK

The latest one I watched yesterday at the cinema and while it has its moments overall it's sooo bad after the promise of Jurassic World.

I finally watched Rush Hour 3 after having seen the original 2 in the cinema and it's ok. Worth a watch if you like the originals...just.

Rambo - 9/10

Goddamn, this was better than I remembered it. It's brutal as strawberry float at times. The end of it was phenomenal. Soundtrack was also on point. Beautiful intro music.
