Even if you like Abba it's always looked like an utterly ridiculous idea. First film was absolute twaddle, and some of the cover versions :dread: Jukebox musicals are always a bit of a letdown. Genuinely can't see the second film being any better, but *everyone* seems to be raving about it.

The Party

When I saw the trailer for this I thought it looked great and it did get very good reviews but it was actually gooseberry fool.

Upgrade

Crank meets Hal from 2001 A Space Odyssey. The less said about it the better. If you're fancy watching something violent, that touches on AI and Cybernetics, mixed with kung fu and done on a teeny budget. This is it!

Rampage

Great fun, especially the giant croc at the end.

I mean, Mammia Mia may not be great (haven't seen it) but it's one of the most successful films of the last few years. It birthed an entire industry. Hardly a nose dive.

The gay scene it that makes really uncomfortable viewing in today's climate. It was pretty offensive at the time to be honest.

Yea, a lot of those have aged pretty damn badly.

Nadia's entire storyline in the first movie is strawberry floating atrocious when you think about it.

Girl gets filmed without her knowledge, gets broadcast masterbating across the internet to hundreds of people and also Blink 182 without her consent. When this is discovered she loses her scholarship and gets strawberry floating deported.

And the worst consequence for the dude who orchestrated it all is that, oh no, he loses his prom date and instead has to take Alysson Hannigan who he ends up marrying.

The poor wee lad.
