Don't bother, it's basically a test of endurance as to how long you can put up with the endless inane chat.

It’s definitely the worst Tarantino, but I think it’s unfairly hated. There’s some decent action and although there’s a lot of chat (a lot!) there’s some decent quotable lines there.

Justice League - 5/10

Watched it in 4k with the only difference being the opening scene with the CGI moustache removal looks so much worse.

A film I truly want to love but it's just a bit a bit gooseberry fool. Everyone is poor in it. Bad guy is playstation 2 CGI and the and whole thing just happens without any sort of pace or direction. The lack of batman theme and superman theme is criminal too. Also worst post credit sequence ever, why remind everyone of an even worse performance.

Wish my image sig would work

Bumblebee - fantastic. If you are a fan of the G1 cartoons or the original bay transformers film then check this out. It is without a doubt the best live action transformers. I just hope it does well enough for the next film to be commissioned. As it needs to be made.

They were all trash after the first one and I’m doubting if that was even any good.

This is much better. Michael bay is not involved at all. It was clearly going to be a prequel film but they changed it during production to a reboot. If you have any interest check some reviews out they are all positive.

I never saw any of the original live action Transformers films, but having seen the 94% on RT and knowing that it's a reboot, this is now on my radar to see.

Avengers Infinity War - 9/10

4k Blu-ray at its finest.

I think it's my fifth viewing. Still a brilliant film with perfect pacing and such a strong final act. Next film has so much to live up to.

The Last Jedi - 8/10

Still enjoyed it second time around.

Scrooge (1970)

My favourite A Christmas Carol adaptation. Albert Finney is superb as Scrooge.

9/10

Thor Ragnarok

Funny in places, but like a lot of these super hero movies pretty dull and quite forgettable.

4/10

Ralph Breaks the Internet

Marevellous stuff. Very funny and clever. The Disney Princess scene is worth it alone.

9/10

Any film that features Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a cheerleaders costume can't be anything but amazing.

The Good Dinosaur 6/10

Not as bad as I'd been lead to believe but definitely not Pixar's best work, was very slow going at times and lacked the usual Pixar charm but some of the GCI scenery was superb- some of the best I've seen in any Pixar film.

Die Hard - 10/10

Despite having watched this so many times, I actually noticed something for the first time this watch. It's when McClane is directing the hostages back downstairs from the roof and a bit of rubble/concrete hits one of them on the head.

Nope, not even that could redeem it from being a massive pile of turd.

That and the not so subtle and completely irreverent hint that her friends leave her to be raped so they can go for a joyride.

Anyway.

Love Actually. ohgoodchrist/10

Turned it off after the third scene with that bloke from Our Family or whatever it was called being a massive, massive stalker. And Andrew Lincoln being a stalker. And Colon Firth. In fact the only reason I got that far was Emma Thompson being amazing and Martine McCuteon saying gooseberry fool a lot.

What a horrible, sleazy little film.
