OMG! Jar Jar is from the classic Star Wars trilogy and any real fan would know he used drunken master fighting moves, not a hammer.

He did get along well with Qui-Gon Gin-and-tonic so I'm sure he enjoys a wee nip of something every now and then.

Aye, but i've learned over the years not to listen to what other people think of movies, be them critics or fans alike.

That has particularly been the case since the day Total Film gave The Innkeepers 5 stars, and it turned out to be an absolute stinking pile of diahorritic canine excrement.

"I disagreed with one review, therefore I'll never listen to anyone else's opinions ever again" is a perfectly normal reaction to a piece of criticism.

Yeah, because i'm that small minded. :fp:

What i wrote was one example, but there have been many other past instances whereby i've listened to what others think regarding movies and have found them to be talking complete balls.

Most films people gush about on here, I've thought were shite (drive :dread: ) so if everyone thinks something is great then I'll usually avoid it.

I like Drive. It's totally style over substance but very enjoyable.

Sadly it looks to have been lightning in a bottle for NWF.

I like how Rudderless has broken a five-month silence to make fun of Vermilion for saying reviews are terrible.

Also I always thought everyone on here *loved* Drive. I'm glad people seem to think it's a bad film now. Best thing about it is that Kavinsky song in the intro

I don't think I love it as much as I did when I first saw it but it's still a great movie.
