The cretinous Sunday Times reviewer Cosmo Landesman thinks Hellboy 2 is better than The Dark Knight. He says Luke Goss matches Ledger.

Jesus, bit to far with that, i can see Goss being alright! but i dunno.

@ Ian Malcolm - My name has that effect on people

The reviewer is a cretin. He seems to give good films bad scores just to make himself stand out. His opinion is irrelevant.

The Lives Of Others (Das Leben der Anderen) - 10/10

Wow, the best film I've seen on DVD for a long time, and has shot straight into my favourite films, fantastic.

Watched The Clone Wars today. Very good, a few dodgy lines and plot funnies but the action was top drawer Starwars stuff. 8/10

Felon - 9/10 A really gritty story and very well acted, Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorff played great characters.
A very good recent prison type film ;)

The Wicker Man

I really loved this and had never seen it before. Christopher Lee was brill and there were some very creep moments. Mainly the villagers peering over the wall all dressed in masks. Such a good film. :D

The Dark Knight. 9/10.

Did not disappoint. Ledger was phenomenal, and Nolan's got much better at the action stuff. Nice to see plenty of screen time given to Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent, too. Two and a half hours flew by.

Very slightly anticlimactic end aside, a masterpiece.

And everyone in the entire cinema jumped at the bit where the mayor's looking out of the window.

I'm talking more about the driving/chase sequences, the opening bank raid, and all that. The fight scenes weren't spectacular, but then they're not really supposed to be - they're supposed to be short and brutal. Batman's no superhero, don't forget.

Yep. It's the first time I've been on a night out in over three months.

Yeah. It will be out for Christmas, for sure. I've not seen it myself, yet.

Full of action, yet has wit and some humor
