I am a 'grown man' and have been listening to the Frozen soundtrack to and from work. So good.

Both Tangled and Frozen are fantastic, but Frozen has by far the better songs. Nearly every one is an instant classic.

Then again Tangled has the Market Place Dance scene which has shot straight into being one of my favourite film scenes of all time.

And though Frozen's visual fidelity is better (skin tones and all that), the warmth of Tangled's aesthetic is something else. It's like Rapunzel's golden glowing hair was used as the Motif for the whole design.

But Frozen has...

Oh forget it. They're both tremendous.

I just wish Frozen had a decent Kristoff/Anna duet that came anywhere close to I See the Light from Tangled (still gets me emosh every time it comes on shuffle). I mean, Love is an Open Door is a fantastic tune, but Kristoff > Hans.

They've confirmed there's plans for a broadway version, hope they add a decent duet into that. Would love to see Idina play Elsa on stage, too. Let it Go is the new Defying Gravity

I suppose it all comes down to if you like that kind of music. I don't see why anyone wouldn't though.
Tangled was probably a better film, but it is damn close.

Yup. I saw it all the way through but once they took flight I thought it got a bit boring. But everything before that was Pixar magic.

It was a decent film, just not Wall-E or Tangled/Frozen calibre.

@Wedgie (if your post was in reply to me): Do you think any portion of Up was better than before the house took off?

I've seen it two or three times and the only reason I went back to it is because everything up to that point ("that point" = including the house taking off for the first time) was worth making the whole film for. It is that good.

The only problem Up really has is Muntz. You end up sympathising with him at the start and then it turns out he's completely, murderously insane without any real reasoning.

I think it's my favourite Pixar film (another exciting debate currently in the office)

I recently watched Toy Story 3 for the first time and it was amazing. Some proper laugh out loud moments and a perfect ending. I think it's my favourite Pixar film, but I still haven't seen Wall-E all the way through and that seemed to be very good too.

Disney films are awesome. I own The Jungle Book on bluray.

There's a lot more wrong with it than that, the second half is really poor when compared to the first. I haven't seen it for a while, but I remember being generally bored with it. It was really disappointing, as the opening was spectacular, but it couldn't keep it up. Wall-E has the same problem, when the humans are introduced the quality drops right off.


There's nothing wrong with liking Disney films. I got this last year, and have some others on Blu Ray including Tangled, which I watched yesterday. It was brilliant, really excited for Frozen now.

Toy Story 3 was their best. The end of it almost made me (the most dead husk of a human being) cry my eyes out. It's an excellent movie from start to finish. Keep meaning to rewatch it.

Nothing wrong with loving disney films in your twenties. The Lion King is awesome. Went to see it in the local cinema a few years ago whenever they did the Blu Ray edition. So, so good. Animation is still incredible.

The second half of up is not boring.

Also I love toy story 3 the last half hour is amazing, almost to a point of being upsetting. The end is brilliant though,

I genuinely have a hard time keeping myself together at the end of Toy Story 3. It's such a good end to the story

I was 11 when I saw the first movie, so it kinda felt like I grew up with the characters. The first time watching 3 I was in company, not sure how I kept it together. Blinking a lot and swallowing the lump that kept rising helped.
