I had a really troubled development with re-writes and all, so what started as a WWZ film ended up being a bit more generic. I haven't seen it but I've heard it's pacing is it's main problem, as if they changed the second half whilst developing it.

Best zombie-esque movies?

1. Hills Have Eyes (2006)
2. Dawn of the Dead (2004)

The rest are either flawed or terrible.... 28 Days is almost good enough in the first half to make up for the army base nonsense though. If you watch the storyboard alternative ending on the DVD that totally would have been better.

EDIT: I forgot SOTD, Zombieland and Braindead :fp:

Can't really compare them to the above list though.

You got the Dawn of the Dead year wrong.

As for Zombie movies, not sure what my favourite is, though. I do like the old classics. Dawn of the Dead being amazing.
