I'm doing it quite a bit actually, the Let's Play watching I mean. It's surprisingly enjoyable especially if the Let's Player is decent (which, admittedly, is like finding a ruby in a stack of shite). Luckly the guy doing LoU was great.

Even though you're completely distanced from the gameplay, for games like BioShock and LoU where the story and atmosphere accounts for more than half the experience it's a good second to having the controller in your paw. No it's not the ideal way to experience a game but I'm in a position where owning a console is completely unthinkable within the next 6 months. I'd played the game up to Pittsburg anyway so know what it feels like, I just wanted to finish the story. It was more than worth it and it's finally swayed me towards the PS4 for my eventual next-gen purchase.

strawberry float it, I regret nothing.

EDIT: I take it everyone's seen the Making Of doc?

Looking forward to seeing if they go for 1080p60 on this. That'd be amazing if they could nail it

Having only just finished the PS3 version, I think I'll wait for a significant price drop on this before dipping again. I reckon it'll feel fresh again in a year's time (for me, anyway).

I just set some time aside one afternoon and ploughed through it. Can I ask how far you've got (spoiler it if necessary)?

Well...

On my first go... I escaped the city with the girl in a car. Arrived at another city and survived the ambush by the bastards. I got far to the huge building where there's more of those bastards.

The the game save somehow reset right back to the beginning. Which I cannot be arsed to play through for a good part of a year.

Fairly recently I'm about to reach the Capitol building. I will get around to it but I need to finish off inFamous Second Son first (not long to go!)

I'm like you in that respect. I'm not a gamer who likes to replay stuff unecessarily.

That's the exact bit I got to. I had to move out and it was my flatmate's PS3 though.

I didn't really get into it until after the leaning skyscraper. Had real trouble with the clickers the first time, too.

For me it was about half way through Bill's town and then the ambush stage when it finally clicked with me. Can't wait to play it again on PS4.

I never bothered with the multiplayer either, as I paid £45 at Game for it and was eager to get rid for like £40, but I've heard it's excellent.

Hopefully I'll have my Sony headset again so I can play in 1080p60 with surround sound. :datass:

The multiplayer is superb. You should all play more of it.

Never touched the MP which seems a little remiss really. I reckon the PS4 MP will get a hammering, maybe I should start on the vertical learning curve now?

Thing is, the PS3 multiplayer is likely full of people that are deeply familiar with the systems now, so you may have a hard time. With the PS4 release there's a decent chance there'll be an influx of new players once again making the learning curve less steep.

Plus none of the multiplayer progress carries over. You may as well wait.

Progressing nicely into the main game.

It makes it hell lot easier that I realised I don't have to kill everything I see.

Finished the main game (on normal) over the weekend. And I would say that the game's story is the best feature of the game. Without it, it wouldn't be anything special.

Probably will tackle it again on Survivor difficulty. But without the listening mode, it could be too difficult considering my disability. It could be a trial and error gameplay for me.

But at the moment, I'm playing the Left Behind DLC and I have to say I'm loving it.
