Just up it to hard. It's still pretty difficult.

Probably will do that and learn most of the enemies' locations and paths for the survivor difficulty.

I'll probably struggle more around human enemies more than I do with the fungus zombies.

Still determined to platinum this. Probably wouldn't before the PS4 version is released (which I have already preordered from Amazon. :fp:)

Yeah I know Zavvi is cheaper but I still have nightmares about my orders from them. :x

Finished Left Behind DLC.

Possibly the best DLC I've played. Surprised Daily Mail doesn't go nuts over that moment but I thought it was well done. I particular like the different methods of dispatching your enemies towards the end. I possibly fluked the last assault set piece but hey... That's what surviving is all about, right?

Bravo, Naughty Dog.

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork. ... UTALMODE00

Or you can have a look at the DLC section in the Last of Us game page on the PSN store on the PS3.

I've tried it a bit.

I have to say that stealth is a bloody must. I was a nervous wreck at the first "stealth or fight" section. Obviously you have to learn the enemies' routes and all that but bloody hell.

Good luck to those who are attempting it.

Cheers, just found it. Wasn't advertised on the main screen so eventually found it in the separate add-ons section.

Should be interesting to finish the game for the first time on this difficulty (if it lets me).

Well... Grounded difficulty.

Firstly, I have to say that removing the listening mode does make it harder as I can't strawberry floating hear anything. Shat myself when a runner came to my face.

There is no HUD.

Stealth is pretty must.

No point in making first aid kits. Most of attacks will almost kill you instantly.

I think this difficulty level is beyond me. I'll just go back to my New Game Plus (on normal) play through, and attempt it on Hard/Survivor.

Sounds brutal, that.

I think Survivor doesn't allow you to use the listening mode

Anyway, I don't know if it's possible to do an exploit (I don't know if they've patched it up) to allow you to play Survivor Plus in your second run. It will save you a lot time to repeat the multiple walkthrough. :shifty:

They have patched it. But you can always delete the game patches though.

I'm already over halfway of my normal new game plus playthrough, as this is mainly my collectibles play through.

It's the only way I play it. Don't need no Batman see through walls bullshit in my horror game.

I could see your point, Anung.

But the removal of the listening mode does make it harder for me, as you know I can't strawberry floating hear a thing. It makes it much more harder, especially if you use your hearing to listen out what's going on behind that wall and what type of enemy it is.

No listening mode is fine if you've got a good pair of headphones.

Otherwise it's impossible to tell where anything is.
