Looking forward to watching series 2 though I have heard some mildly worrying things about it - then again it's been pretty well-reviewed so we'll see, we'll see.

There's only 1 episode in season 2 that's universally loathed - you'll know it when you're watching it

Second series isn't as good as the first in my opinion, or rather it's simply not as interesting. That One Episode is indeed awful, but the rest is all pretty meh too.

Altered Carbon - 8/10

+ I liked the aesthetic and design
+ Some nice ideas
+ Brutal and gory
+ Decent plot and subplots
+ Pacing differed between episodes

- Some annoying/pointless characters (Lizzie :dread: - hoping she doesn't appear in season 2 - absolutely nothing interesting or appealing about her)
- Could get a little confusing at times

I couldn't get past the third episode, the plot is almost incoherent and it has a strange "uncanny valley" quality to the CGI scenery which looks horrible in 4K .

I don't usually struggle to follow plots (aside from Primer) but there's just so much made up future tech and 'lore' going on in this show that it feels like you need to have a companion show explaining what the strawberry float it is you've just watched.

Mm, I had to look up a couple of bits to make sure I was following things correctly, but I've had to do that in other programmes as well - I didn't find it particularly bad.

It is a bit of a mishmash, but it does get better.

Yeah, AC was a 6 or 7 out of 10 series with a 3/4 out of ten start to it.

Karate Kid is one of my favourite movies of all time and Cobra Kai was everything I could ever possibly want from something like this. Oh my god it was so strawberry floating hype!

Never a truer word spoken (written). An absolutely wonderful bit of TV that treats the source material with huge respect and is genuinely funny in a really good-natured way. Johnny Lawrence is a bloody brilliant character too.

I was expecting some seriously low-budget guff from Cobra Kai but it is probably the most enjoyable TV show I've watched in a decade, if not longer.

Breaking Bad 9/10

It's still great and I'm still kind of conflicted about Walt, on whether the last episode redeemed him. I don't think it did, even though there are parts where you feel bad for him. Dat Cranston performance is a masterclass regardless.

Game Of Thrones Season 6.

Face biting perfection

Read that season 7 is supposed to be the best, will be watching in a few hours.

Well don't get your hopes up too much, it's fine but nowhere near the show's best.

4 > 3 > 6 > 1 > 5 > 7 > 2 for me.

Lost in Space - 8/10

Having only seen the awful film version, I had low expectations of this but was pleasantly surprised. Its nothing particularly special in terms of plot and its obviously intended to be family friendly viewing but there's something about it that keeps you interested from start to finish.

Currently watching The Crown on Netflix and I have to say it’s really rather enjoyable whatwhatwhat.

John Lithgow is fantastic as Winston Churchill, and I love the guys that play King George and King Edward (the one who abdicated for Mrs. Simpson).

Even Matt Smith is half decent in it!

The Door episode is one of my favourite episodes, partially cos of that twist cos it didn’t happen yet in book wise terms.

Hodor!

Suits - season 7. Sort of feel like the last few episodes were rushed and the plot of Harvey flying to Chicago to help Jessica added nothing of interest. Still enjoy Suits though and will be interesting how it continues without one of the leads that impacted so much. 7
