It's about the same I reckon, if this aired four times a week it would be diluted down to the Daily Show's level of quality (not that TDS is bad at all).

Stewart is better too of course, being a veteran. Nothing against Oliver, he's still new, but he needs to tone down some of his mannerisms - chiefly repeatedly shouting jokes to drive them home. That's nit-picky though.

Jon Stewart isn't immune to annoying tics himself.

Sure, but with Oliver I've noticed more and they're borderline annoying. I'm sure he'll iron them out eventually

Is there a site where I can watch this online or is it showing on UK tv? Sounds like a good watch.

I know what Skippy means. The Family Guy-esque bits where he starts scolding and shouting at a picture that's come up on screen are just not very good. They go on way too long as well.

It's only shown on Sky Atlantic in the UK. I am sure it is "available" elsewhere if you look though. :shifty:

They always post a lot of the show on Youtube, in separate videos. Pretty handy.

I've found this can be overly preachy as well which I can't ever say I've had a problem with TDS. I think the writing is just stronger on TDS at the moment and they've obviously had longer to find a routine that works.

Stewarts voices and the other running jokes always crack me up too.

Yeah that was depressing. Singing muppets were definitely needed to cheer me up.
