That France bit was the best thing he's ever done. The flour reveals had me laughing like an idiot in the middle of the office.

Cracking episode last night and completely on point. Theresa May takes an absolute hammering and there is a rather brilliant cameo to round things off!

So Bob Murray is going to sue Last Week Tonight for character assassination.

That's going to be hilarious.

The way the tv news works in the US is insane.
Any Americans that visit the UK must be stunned and bewildered that we have news channels that actually just report the news and don't have opinion pieces. We also don't have news channels shouting "Breaking news!!!!!!!!!!" every 10 minutes.
It's slightly amazing to me when they claim any news organisation that doesn't act like Fox news is biased against conservatives as that's honestly what they think "Fair and balanced" looks like.

Have you ever watched Sky or the BBC news?

Both of them seem to have a permanent ticker bar that screams “BREAKING NEWS!”.

The BBC news website even has a little pop up every so often that alerts you to a “BREAKING NEWS!” story.

Other than that, I agree with you.

That’s creeping in over here as well. Plenty of people seem to think that the news must be biased if it doesn’t agree with their worldview.

Trouble is, if you are hard right or hard left then anything in the centre will look like it is biased towards the side you oppose. People can’t seem to comprehend that a neutral viewpoint is unlikely to fully agree with them personally.

It's nowhere near as intrusive as CNN which will have a super loud breaking news alert siren and cut away to a stern host who's constantly at Defcon 1 and trying to claim that whatever gooseberry fool they have is the most important news on the planet!

This is the actual legal response by the defendant
