Not surprised by ROF being missing, no justice though as it is twice the game FFXIII will ever be :(

I think with Red Steel 2 it has a million selling plus prequel that sold to a fraction of the current userbase so you would have expected better.

Fair point. And RoF did decent numbers in Japan, IIRC, so it's not as if it's a total disaster. Be interesting to see how Red Steel 2 does Stateside...

And you're right, it is twice the game FFXIII will ever be.

Sega doesn't bother promoting any of its games apart from the ones that star Sonic, it seems. I'm surprised Yakuza 3 did as 'well' as it did.

What about Bayonetta? I don't know if they advertised it, actually, but it did well, was a new IP and had to have more than just the hardcore buying it to do the numbers it did, I think.

Perhaps it was the buzz in the press.

Sorry, yeah, they promoted Bayonetta. The LaRoux (shudder)-soundtracked ad, wasn't it?

To some tune - 26th best-selling DS title. Ouch. :(

As someone else observed - basically no advertising for SEGA's games this week.

The only reason I ended up buying it is because I played it on my R4 first.

edit: Raaaagh, Infinite Space. I just squeak through a tough pirate battle with five enemy ships by the skin of my teeth... and then the game decided "You know what you need? ANOTHER tough battle with five enemy ships!"
