...I've set myself up here, haven't I? . I enjoyed playing Ocarina when we did the GR Plays a while ago. I can't quite remember how far I got into the game; I know that I now had Epona and Hyrule Field had gotten evil!

Okay. You chaps have provided the required impetus and I will continue the adventure! Probs not until Tuesday, though. If any other of you guys are also gonna play a Zelda title before the launch of Breath on Friday, this could be a fun way of building excitement for the launch :toot: .

Genuinely considering getting a Wii U as a Zelda only console, twilight Princess HD, Wind waker HD, Skyward Sword and Breathe of the wild.

I turned my 3DS into something similar. Have Majoras Mask, Ocarina of Time, A link between worlds then digitally Links Awakening, Oracld of Ages and Oracle of Seasons.

You'd just become adult Link. Riding around forever.

I am here for you.

I feel grossly incandescent at the idea of such jolly co-operation :toot:

If you can find a Wii U cheap enough after Friday, do it.

I always wanted to buy a Japanese Wii U over here, but the stupid region locking put me off, as did the price. It's actually more expensive than the Switch is going to be, so it made sense just to get that. I do miss my Wii U at home though, and it's felt like a bit of a waste going away for three years of that console's life. I bet it misses me too.

Hopefully Wii U software prices might crash a short while after the Switch launch. I bet they might rocket back up though as it becomes harder to find, so maybe this week is a good time to check eBay to see the second hand prices.

Did you own a Wii? If not, there's also the BC and its back catalogue to go through, not to mention other Wii U games like MK8, Super Mario World etc.

I need to pick up Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess too. I quite fancy playing them at Christmas when I'm back in the UK.

Actually, did I take part in that GR Plays? I seem to recall I did, but I honestly cannot remember...

...just checked the old thread, and I did! That must have been the reason I decided to replay Ocarina of Time when I did.

€199 brand new with MK8. Looking mighty tempting.

As I couldn't take part in Mario Kart Monday tonight, I did a bit of side questing in Twilight Princess HD. 2 things I never knew:

1. Light your lantern in the Bomb Shop in Kakariko Village for a funny cut scene :-)

2. The cat chatting game in the Lost Village. I must have missed this when I first played this game on Wii!

I also visited a couple of the early dungeons to make sure I had all chests...spent ages in Goron mines looking for a stray chest, and all it was was a wretched Hylian letter stamp...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild The Complete Official Guide Deluxe Edition has just been posted on Amazon. Looks lovely and I've preordered but hope that £60 price tag is a placeholder!

I hope BotW's soundtrack will be as good. Right now it almost seems like it won't have much of one.

How much is it going to set you back? As over here the Wii U is more expensive than the Switch...

If you want you can have my barely played one (UK though), MK, Mario 3D and Bayonetta 2 for a good price :)

As it stands it'll be going in the loft I think
