Awful news. I knew he'd been unwell for quite some time, but it doesn't make this any less of a shock. Darts won't be the same without him.

I'm sure when darts returns to Sky Sports (I think in October) they'll give him a proper tribute.

Shame. He was a fantastic commentator. A real boon to the game.
