I completed it a while ago and am now scouring the city for all the collectables and secrets. Even now I'm at 42% completion!

End game spoiler:
Doesn't the ending open things up for a sequel? What with Blackwell doing the Darth Vader (spinning into space)

because its not a game that inspires 102 pages of inquiry into what the strawberry float that ending was about.

Got this with my £149 Wii U. Not bad but struggling to see why it is a console exclusive.

Because Nintendo funded it.

Yeah, screenshots from the system have always seemed quite rough. They're obviously compressed to strawberry float to be seen optimally on the gamepad, as part of the event stream.

It's somewhat dependant on the gamepad for some of the features.
Plus Chase's communicator is a Wii U gamepad.

Personally, I hope it never gets released on other consoles. Wii U could use some good exclusives like this.

To be honest, the other consoles could be doing with a game this good. There's precious few good GTA style games for young players.

They should ask their parents for a Wii U then.

'tis a great game to play together with your kids. My boy is so excited that we can now play as Rex Fury. So much to do still.... kind of wish I put this on my USB drive now. Maybe I'll do that with the Marvel Superheroes one coming up, that's supposed to be open world too I think.

Those screenshots are horrendous. Shame, as it's clearly quite a nice looking game. What's the deal with them, though? Were you playing on the pad at the time? Maybe they're better if you take them on the TV (maybe it takes them at a different resolution)? The Vita takes better screenshots than that.

Just beat the main story, credits are rolling and I think I'm only about 21% completed. I'll be doing 100% but it won't be main thing to do, just something to play over time while collecting stuff.

Really love the game, at first it seemed bit boring but later on it gets much better. Glad I got the game

Yeah agree, it feels different because of the open world. The missions are similar structure to traditional lego game fare, but the bulk of the fun in the game is driving around with different cars (and other vehicles :) ) and discovering the special blocks for the ace super builds that you can make. It feels like a kind of game within the game.

The main mission really serves to give you a laugh with the great humour, and to unlock the characters that you need to get to some of the great unlockable vehicles and the like.

Not many other games allow you to drive a cop car, an ice cream van, ride animals, fly a ufo, ride a dinosaur, control remote control cars, ride on a roller coaster..... all in one game!

Cheers all. Will add it to the list and pick up when I get a chance! :)

(Although having not played a GTA game since GTA1 its not a great comparison!)

Reached 28% completed, holy hell that's after about 12-14hours of playing this. Compared to LEGO Batman 2 there's so much stuff to do.

I need to get tracking red blocks so I can get hints to where collection items are; I'm missing a character on that island where jail is.
