Now at 79.5% completed with 30+ hours on clock so far. Haven't used guide at all, and I'm not bored yet which means they've done it right, usually get bored of 100%ing Lego games but not this  Hope there'll be sequel too!

Tempted to get 3DS version actually...

No idea, I might look into it although I'd like to finish Fire Emblem first.

I'm now on 90.7% completed, I don't want it to end :( Might actually do New game with some rules to make it more challenge, if I fancy it. For now having put in 34hours (40hrs according to Activity Log), it's actually great valve for money

Sequel please! Yes I know I've said it before and I will say it again. :P

The reviews for the 3DS versions is averaging 6-7 out of 10s.

It's created by TT Fusion. Don't expect it to be as good as the Wii U version, maybe a lot downgraded compared to its big brother version, as usual with Lego games such as Harry Potter, Batman and Lord of the Rings.

I have fun with the Harry Potter and Batman 2 on the PS Vita, but I wouldn't buy them if it's full retail price. I would recommend to wait for the price to fall sub £20 for it.

I think ONM said the 3DS version lacks the humour of the Wii U game. :(

Wouldn't be surprised, the humour in most portable Lego games isn't present, compared to its big brother versions.

Ahem.

I'm interested in the Switch reissue of this. The long loading times and lack of offscreen play for the Wii U version meant that it was a non-starter. Those who played it through - worth it?

I played it on my nephews Wii u thought it was great, I would only didn't buy it for myself and my lad as it was one player, I believe that the remaster version will be two player so I'm interested.

Yeah, the remake/remaster is co-op so it's infinitely better already. I'm excited

I think I'm gonna grab the remaster on Switch at first, then will triple dip on the PC version when it goes mega cheap.

I really loved the Wii U version and the load times never really bothered me that much. Driving around the city was a lot of fun and the actual plot levels were brilliant, especially the final one

YES. Probably the best Lego game. The only thing wrong with it on Wii U was technical issues, as you say, loading, some framerate issues and it was quite jaggy looking. Hopefully some of these things will be fixed in the Switch version.

The biggest problem was indeed the loading. It takes strawberry floating ages. But I just mucked around on my smartphone to pass the time.

Once it loaded, what you got was well worth the wait.

One of the best games on Wii U, and one of the most fun games I've ever played.

Imagination, charm, humour, lego - what more could you want.

Get it, play it, love it! :toot:

Just echoing what the other two above have said. Great game dragged down by technical issues. The loads were so long that it really did affect my enjoyment.

Easily my favourite Lego game, I'm looking forward to re-playing it on Switch. The loadings were pretty bad, and that's by someone who's 100%ed it!

Worth it though for me.

I am very concerned that this game is, once again, not going to sell well and go under everyone's radar.

Fact - it's the best Lego video game ever made, and is amazingly good fun. The game world is huge, imaginative and funny.

You fly helicopters, drive trains, jump in taxis and ice cream vans, ride dinosaurs, go to space, go on theme park rides, catch Pigs, go to kung fu school, escape from Alcatraz...I could go on forever.

If this game had some kind of licence slapped on it, it would sell millions, but sadly "lego city" just isn't cool enough...

It was great. The number of references and parodies of films, games and TV shows in it was fantastic. Wish I hadn't traded in my original version.

Hopefully they've fixed the issue with the loading times as I'll be more than willing to pick this up again.
