Playing through the Portal level pack, finally. It's immense.

Jiggles you need to buy this.

I think I'm going to hold it back for a Christmas present.

I was rearranging my study just now and I dropped the strawberry floating portal. Pieces everywhere. There really should have been more than just the two peg spots on the base to secure it.

It is pretty wobbly.

Getting the Jurassic World team pack and Emmett Fun Pack tomorrow. :dread:

Seek financial advice.

Just did the Portal level in the main story. Perfection. Cool, unexpected cameo during the boss fight, too. :o

The Jurassic World stuff is really rather disappointing, none of the music you would hope would be in there and the world is actually smaller than most other despite the fact you have to pay more for it. Id recommend steering well clear, unless you desperately want the abilities.

Looking at my collection I think I've reached a point where I think enough is enough. I'll still get the Dr Who and Bart Simpson stuff but after that I'm done. Spent way more than I was expecting to already and though I'm nowhere near unlocking everything it's all starting to feel a bit samey.

Where's the little robot dude from the campaign? And what the hell is up with your batmobile?

He's on the base, you just can't see him.

That's one of the alternate versions of the Batmobile, all vehicles and gadgets have three ways they can be built.

Just got to the end of the game, it's rather smashing

Went back and replayed the Portal part of the campaign to see if I could 100% it with all my new characters, got most of the way there but couldn't collect all the mini kit parts. There are hidden parts of all of the campaign levels and the hidden section of the Portal bit is really quite significant. You unlock it through having Chell and it's basically another level pack in itself.

Posting from my phone, so apologies for the formatting, but: http://www.everybodyplays.co.uk/news/PS ... -Hero/2185

New update lets you hire characters with abilities that you haven't already got in your roster! Suddenly makes it a far more appealing prospect

Wow that's a really nice feature to add. Quite smart too, the value of the packs comes from the world's and levels they unlock whereas the frustration comes from not being able to tackle the puzzles dotted around the game. This will solve the latter without cheapening the former.

I would recommend everyone who has the game but not the Portal set go to the Portal campaign level and rent the Chell character at the point you meet Wheatley to unlock a load of extra portal content for free!

I should have been playing The Simpsons and Dr Who stuff since Thursday but it seems Amazon's delivery companies' incompetence knows no bounds and they've failed to deliver it on 3 successive days.

Look what I got. :toot: Had no idea I was getting it! Going on your recommendation I'll probably pick up the portal pack.

Nice :) I got the PS4 version for my daughter with the BttF and Portal sets. Will probably get it set up tomorrow. While it's very much 'for her', I must admit that I am quite interested in seeing the Portal set :shifty:

Í can't imagine many kids having the patience to sit and build for that long.
