£55 quid on Amazon when I looked. Seems to be disc only, so no cheap downloads

I finished this yesterday and I enjoyed it, even the Hawkeye and Black Widow parts. Initially I was a bit underwhelmed because I was expecting it to be a bit more impressive in powers and chaos but I enjoyed it more and more as I progressed through the game. I understand that it can't be too complex given its audience so I can appreciate that there won't be as many abilities as something like Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I know that I'm asking a lot for the characters to be voiced by the actors from the movies or TV series (especially the 90's cartoon version of Gambit) but that was a great touch in Lord of the Rings which made the voice acting a bit disappointing. I did get used to the voices and, by the end of it, they all worked well together, but it would have been great to see. The music has some wonderful pieces but it wasn't as prominent as the LOTR score and so at times, when I wasn't using headphones, the game felt a bit quiet.

Overall it's an excellent game and worth playing if you like the Lego series and/or the Marvel universe.

I don't know about the second Hawkeye and Black Widow section but the only thing that saved me from bashing my head in with the pad out of sheer boredom was the eventual inclusion of Spiderman. (slight exaggeration)

It's not that their bits played badly but rather that their powers are naff and I have no interest in either of them.

Just fought the Sentinel. Dialogue spoilers...

Mutant anyone? Anyone here a mutant? We'd very much like to destroy you.

You're an odd one. Not a mutant, are you?

 I encountered him as Howard the Duck.

Just figured out how to access character swap table if you end up in freeplay with Hulk or Spiderman or some other character who has another ability mapped to the same button press: you press the character button twice.

:toot: Boomerang dispatched my copy of the sequel yesterday. There's no way I'll finish .hack//G.U. Last Recode any time soon so I may put it aside and start on LMS2 over the weekend.
