Second episode is a bit strange. Feels like a lot more scene setting/world building (although some events will clearly come into play later) rather than focusing on moving the big story. The last bit though....

Told Kate to wait. Struggled with the choice, but last time reporting Warren didn't work out well. Need hard evidence.

Didn't even seen the choice to help Alyssa. Was generally nice to everyone and got 2 party invites as a result and helped pass a science test.

Samuel's dialogue outside was basically serial killer 101, but while creepy felt too obvious a misdirect.

Wavering on Warren from people creepily pushing and endearingly charming. Agreed to "Go Ape!" with him though.

Answered Kate's call - who at this point was reminding me of Suicidey from the Family Guy joke. Pissed off Chloe, but felt like the right call.

Left my name on the wall...not sure I should be leaving evidence of my involvement with these 2 around though, but felt like I should as part of a trio.

Struggled with shooting Frank or not...in the end did both, and then went with the not shooting him angle. It gets Chekov's Gun away from Chloe (who'd already shot herself while playing with it) and meant he wasn't as pissed off at me. It's gonna come into play again though I'm sure...

Didn't tamper with the tracks for the train (but I did cut wires? I didn't understand this)

Managed to save Kate. Poking around her room earlier gave loads of tips to help. Stepping in to defend from David seemed to help too (although not having the picture stopped me at other points).

Explored all 3 reporting to principal tracks. David was harassing her, but I'm starting to think he's trying to do the right thing...just badly. Jefferson seemed the "best" ending for Max since no one was pissed at her. Nathan needed reporting though, and he at least admitted he'd taken her somewhere. Sure the lawyers will be after me soon. Felt odd Max never mentioned the blood warning or texts to anyone at any point.

Most importantly - watered the plant. It'll live to the end, damn it.

Overall someone less satisfying that Episode 1 (although style and music is still great) and the culmination of choices/investigative work towards the end felt good - and surprisingly early compared to other games.

I

Told Kate to go to the police, not sure on that decision.

I answered Kate Call.

Tried to shoot Frank, he was not amused.

I saved Kate, cause I'm a sweet talker

And blamed Nathan as he's a banana split.

I also watered the plant.

IMO the character development in this is really, really good. I'm enjoying this as a chill experience. I wish it was longer.

I played Episode 1 last night.

I missed some of the things Hexx mentioned in his post - I didn't I explore the campus very thoroughly as I didn't even notice any guy wanting to draw me, and I saw the person with the petition but didn't speak to them. I didn't want to linger in Victoria's room so I didn't rearrange any photos either.

Watered the plant though, obviously.

I kinda want to play through ep 1 again to find the stuff I missed, but should really carry on into episode 2.

I played ep 1 when it came out but I think I will hold off the other episodes until they are all out and then just play the whole thing from start to finish.

Oh, and isn't it odd that Max only seems to own that crappy old poleroid camera? Supposing she genuinely wants to become a photographer then you'd think her family would have sprung for DSRL with interchangeable lenses and other tools of the trade, especially after she was good enough to earn a scholarship.

Okay, just finished episode 2. Loving this, can't wait for the next one.

Choices:

Told Kate to wait for proof. Felt bad but I think it was the right thing to do.

Helped Alyssa, but I turned down Warren's 'Go Ape' offer. I don't like him that way. I did try to help with his science experiment but I didn't manage to do it properly. Guess I didn't rewind enough to see the right option.

I did answer Kate's call and did try to shoot Frank. Bet that one comes back to haunt me.

Left my name on the wall but I feel a little like I'm intruding in their place by doing that.

Also saved Kate and blamed Nathan. Got a feeling Nathan (and maybe Frank) are going to make life a misery in the next one.

Going by the stats I seem to have made the 'majority' choice for most of them. And yes, I watered the plant.

Her name is Lisa, show some respect to your new leader.

Just finished Ep 2. They've really nailed the Veronica Mars feel. Excellent use of music too. I blamed Nathan even though Jefferson is clearly evil.

This deserves more attention than it is getting. 2 pages?!

You had to speak to the teacher to get the answer of l what to use in the experiment, and it was neither of his choices.

Bad, despite thinking I'd done everything I could to get the good outcome. Which I guess is the point, good to have the feeling of doing everything you could have when dialogue leads to these things rather than feeling like you just picked wrong

Episode 3 chat

Making the pipe bomb and the dinner scene both felt too drawn out and randomly clicking.

Not sure the ending. I get it, but I hope it doesn't lay out "You're paralyzed, how terrible!" and upset people. Assume it'll get changed back pretty quick otherwise previous choices/plot points seem to be invalidated (although if a serial killer Rachel could still be in trouble I suppose)

THE PLANT DIED

Changed Warren's grade. I'm warming to him

Left the Money (Wasn't sure if it was really for the handicapped, but wasn't risking it. God how has would the ending be if you took it!

Didn't kiss Chloe. Not sure if it was serious or not (Max is completely oblivious, but I think Chloe was serious), but I barely even like her.

Erased the Answer machine

Sided with David Not convinced of his guilt, despite obvious shadyness but feels he's trying to do the right thing. Also playing it cool seemed safer (shame I didn't get the option to explain to Chloe)

Warned the wise homeless woman/Oracle

"Saved" Alysa from getting splashed

Didn't tempt the dog into the road 6% of people are monsters!

Just finished the first episode. Missed a whole load of the choices :shifty:

I'm enjoying it, but I'm not sure I like that for some of the puzzles you have to do them and fail before you can rewind time and do it the right way. Like hiding in Chloe's closet. Everyone can see the lamp is leaning on the door, so you can't open it without moving the lamp, but she still has to knock everything over before she can even interact with the lamp. I think it was the same with pushing the cardboard underneath the cupboard to catch the screwdrivers that fall off the washing machine too, but I could be wrong.

Not sure if Chloe's tumblr-teen lingo is amazing or hella dreadful yet, either.

Sounds interesting .
