Fred Durst Announces Limp Bizkit Is "Over"

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has stated in a new interview with Metal Injection that the band is "over".

Durst goes onto to say that although the band are not splitting up, their popularity was a moment in time and their former fans "have moved on". Check out an excerpt from the feature below.

"But here's the deal: say in 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it's over."

Guess they made enough money form Golden Cobra to keep going for a bit.

Did Wes Borland rejoin these guys? I always thought he was the best thing about this band. I didn't really care for them too much as a whole, well, after I went through my Chocolate Starfish phase

Also, I love your avatar Jam. Dat album

The whole band got back together to make the album, Golden Cobra

Over does not mean splitting up.

Seriously, does nobody read articles properly?

It's been rocky for a while with Fred and DJ Lethal and Bordland apparently. I didn't mind Gold Cobra as an album, it had some alright tracks on it, and it reminded me of Limp Bizkit of old. Middle Finger is a pretty weird but cool track.
