If you don't like, don't listen.

Yep agree. I thought I would spread the LP love and all I got was hate. :(

Linkin Park are great. They can be a bit hit and miss with the ridiculous and often unnecessary shouty bits in their songs, especially some of their earlier works, but they've improved by leaps and bounds over the past couple of years.

Yep, for me Minutes to Midnight was them trying to be something they're not, but even then the album had some good songs like Bleed it Out.

Bleed It Out was one of the worst tracks in that album to me. Hands Held High, The Little Things Give You Away and Shadow Of The Day were all far superior efforts.

It had a killer riff though and is catchy as hell. Kinda.

It's a very weak song in my view, it hasn't got a lot of 'oomph' behind it, if you know what I mean.

Half way through a first listen of the album. Sounds good so far.

I don't really get all the LP hate either, then again sometimes I think people take stuff too seriously. For me they've always been a band I can throw on whether I'm browsing the net and/or busy doing work. Perhaps not exactly thought proving music, but enjoyable non the less.

Oddly enough I only started listening to them again recently due to a a dry spell in finding something new to listen to. I found listening to 'Hybrid Theory' for nostalgia sake led me to enjoy some of their newer stuff.

Anyone looking for more LP (Mike Shinoda) sounding material should go check out 'The Raid: Redemption' soundtrack too.

I love LP, but they don't half know how to depress me. It's their combination of sad or regretful songs and many a painful memory I have of listening to their stuff during some of the worst times of my life.

Yep, agree. Too much and its very depressing. Goes for Rock music in general imo.

I really did love Hybrid Theory when it first came out, I was 19 though and pretty angry with everything.

I can't believe Linkin Park have been around for over a decade.

Yes, because they're better now than they've ever been before.
