Yes, and it was free digitally a couple of years back with Games with Gold. :)

If you nabbed it digitally, just go to your games and scroll all the way right and it'll be there waiting to be downloaded.

That looks ace, I don't ever remember it being quite that good-looking. Upscaled?

I don't think so, its the original Code, unless X1 does something to improve it, only difference I've seen is load times appear to be far less than I remember.

Actually loved Fable 2. Is Fable 3 really that bad?

F3 was a bit too basic in areas, it stripped down in places where it really should have built upon the mechanics from F2.

F2 was almost a perfect upgrade from F1 except for the lack of the map.

This. It's a decent enough game, just not as good as F2.

You are not going to turn people losing their jobs into a point scoring exercise between man babies. Grow the strawberry float up.

Fable 3 commits one absolutely heinous crime, though.

Suddenly skipping 121 days without warning, so you're thrust into the final battle when you may not have raised enough money yet, because you weren't expecting a 121 day strawberry floating time skip.

For that reason alone, Fable 3 is ruined. Not even Wossy could have saved it.

Excellent piece in Eurogamer on Lionhead and it's closure:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-05-12-lionhead-the-inside-story
It's very long btw.

After reading it, it's really sad that they are gone. Heartbreaking to think they after legends they were all set to do Fable 4. Peter Molyneux seemed to be really liked generally, sure he was an idiot but he was Lionhead.

That said, I think I'd like Fable 4 to have him involved somehow, he admits he'd love to make another one.

The thing I got from that piece was that Molyneux didn't do much on any of the Fable games. It sound like he just turned up throw out a couple of ideas and then buggered off.

I bet he also recorded all the fart sound effects personally as well though.

He insisted on a dog for Fable 2 and the breadcrumb trail.

So lex-man is correct, then.
