According to GAF he has since retracted that 'threat' on his twitter.

I'm still firmly of the belief that despite the fact that he could be a bit irritating at times, Shane made this podcast interesting, and without that sort of controversial figure it just isn't as good a listen.

Yeah, the best episodes were when they had both Shane and Luke on IMO.
They've lost a lot of people from 1UP who made great stand-ins too (Mark MacDonald, Jeff Green, Shawn Elliot for example), the current line-up doesn't do much for me at all.

I hope you're all proud of yourselves!

TBH I'm losing interest in this podcast.

I really don't think that'd be such a bad thing, to be honest. 1Up Yours is dead, ListenUp is gooseberry fool and a mere shadow of it. Why try to ressurect a so very, very dead horse?

1Up is essentially dead. It'll completely close shop soon enough.

Yeah totally. Plus there was his vast gaming knowledge. It's pretty shocking how uninformed the current line-up is on some gaming topics, if Shane was still there he would be there to correct them.

You came into 1up quite late, didn't you?

From what it was and what it is today is shocking. Just talking about games just doesn't 'do' it for me

Granted, I've only been listening to it for just a year, but it's the exact same now as it was then, except Shane isn't there. The content and structure of the show is exactly the same. I've no problem with it.

Without the brodeo or the wonders of Luke Smith under your belt, I think it's safe to say your words carry no weight here.

Seriously, you've only really listened to the decline. Quite a way into it, too.

He really does need to stop drinking so much. You constantly get the feeling that everyone - including the others on the show - are laughing at him.

Everything apart from Anthony.

Apart from the episode with Robert Ashley, it's the worst gaming podcast I've heard. Even worse than 1UP FM was.

Rebel FM without Phil and Nick isn't something I want to listen to anymore sadly.

I do still enjoy it but have to agree that it's a shadow of its former self, it's probably my third favorite podcast behind Gamers with Jobs and Giant Bomb.

You're not wrong. I actually find listening to Garnett cringe worthy at times.

I also like RebelFM. How much do you guys hate me now? :) I loved that Arthur confronted his haters last week. I'd get pretty sick of it too if I was him.
