Going to be in London on my own on Tuesday. Going to be at Liverpool St station and was wondering if there was anything nice around there or am I better just getting the tube to Westminster and chilling there.

Any advice is welcome.

Covent garden is worth a look around as is Camden , Liverpool street is in the city so its mainly offices. Although I'm probably working at broadgate Tuesday which is next to Liverpool street station lol
Free things to do Natural history museum , science museum, imperial war museum. Or have a tour of the emirates.

You're only two stops from Tower Hill so you could look at the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, and the Shard. If you go to London Bridge to look at the Shard then you're only one stop away from Borough Market (it's easily walkable from London Bridge actually).

If you're there for just one day I wouldn't recommend going all the way to Camden (it's a trek from Liverpool Street). Westminster and Covent Garden are more doable (for Covent Garden just walk from Holborn, you don't need to change to the Piccadilly line).
