Wii SNES pad is awesome, that was a Stars catalogue exclusive right? NES and N64 equivalents would also be amaze.

Yes, as was the Game&Watch Ball in the picture. The other controller there is a Japanese Hori GC controller which is also awesome.

Trust Falsey to notice I'd accidentally moved one of my speakers in front of my monitor.

Bang! HSH arrives with an eclectic mix of marvels!

Right off the bat, you gain additional kudos for including the GRcade "Show & Tell" screen in your photo! You've been rather coy abut the "tell" part... so I'll pick out a few highlights:

> A great Kirby New 3DS coverplate!
> I back up Zerudaaaaa! about the ace-ness of the Wii SNES pad
> The blue shell from Mario Kart 8 Special Edition! Is it being readied for TWArio or Dragon?
> A Pac Ghost peeping out!
> The Witcher 3 extra-extra-mega-limited edition diorama... It looks pretty cool!
> A clicky-clacky-big-button PC keyboard and a complicated looking mouse device ;)
> The wee figure from that PS3 RPG that I've forgotten! (That's it... Ni No Kuni!)
> The legendary AT-At that appeared in one of your amiibo pics!
> A hero of the Metal Gear series (I think?)
> Some wee metal figures that look cool but I don't know who they are!

Wham! It's a double-hitter as you then posted another pic!

> Lego Ghostbusters!!!
> Zelda Wind Waker (and Phantom?) figurines!
> Big Daddy! It's such as ace figure... I was so pleased when I picked that up. It's definitely my favourite Special Edition of a game
> And... whoah... I didn't think you'd show that! It's.... no, surely... it IS! It's the Alien powerloader figure from ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES SPECIAL EDITION! HSH... you have that set?!? I thought I was the only GRcadian who had owned up to it!

A tremendous set of posts, man. Thanks for sharing!

The Metal Gear figure is Raiden from the LE version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

The metal figures are from the SE version of Civ V

The mini Zelda figures are from the Zelda Spirit Tracks SE.

Couple of things you didn't mention, a Club Nintendo version of Game & Watch Ball and my Hori GC controller in the first picture (as well as a partially hidden Vita). Then the Marcus from Borderlands 2 Bobblehead in the second.

EDIT - As for the Colonial Marines figure, I managed to pick the SE version up a couple of years ago for ~£10, couldn't say no at that price.

EDIT 2 - I might have a couple more pictures to post at some point, but I don't want to overrun the topic with my stuff.

Picked up my first Japanese GC games today - got Tales of Symphonia for about £2.50 and Animal Crossing with the e-reader (remember that?) for around a fiver. They had more but I decided to exercise restraint, especially as I owned pretty much all of them in PAL format anyway.

My search for Custom Robo 2, Kuru Kuru Kururin and other Japan-only games continues...

On that note...

R:Racing Evolution and the only reason to own it...

And the back of the box for Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution...

Now you just need to pick up a Japanese GameCube or backwards compatible Wii, if you don't have one, and start Symphonia :toot:

Parksey is in Japan so it's probably easier for him to pick up a Japanese GameCube.

Yeah, I got one. If I remember correctly, it was modded to also play US games.

My 970 arrived earlier this week and I managed to grab a picture of the box (bidding starts at $9.99) before putting the card into my PC. I was so eager to set it up that I didn't take any pictures of the card itself or the horrible cable management inside my case.

Image

I decided to test it out on The Witcher 3 and it makes a huge improvement! I was stuck playing at 30FPS, with drops, which made the game feel very choppy but now it's running at a silky smooth 60FPS. I've even got some hairworks enabled so that people's hair and the grass on the land sway a bit in the breeze.

nVidia is currently running a promotion in which you get a free copy of The Phantom Pain when buying certain graphics cards. Here it is nestled safely in my Steam library.

Image

This promotion, along with the news that the Pascal models won't be out until the middle of next year, gave me enough of a push to upgrade from my faithful 660 Ti. You served me well.

When I was doing my pictures last week I also took another one of some random things I've got, multiple platforms, new Amiibos, an assortment of games, there's some interesting stuff half hidden as well...
