Some uruk have the ability to appear out of nowhere and challenge you.

Run. Run like a mofo but keep attacking the nemesis uruk. Drag him away from his guard and fight him solo. If the guard keep following then run and whittle them down with headshots with the bow and arrow as you go.
Do you at least know its strength and weaknesses?

If that doesn't work... I dunno, tell 'em you're from the 'hood?

Yeah he ruined the whole game for me. Now he is at level 40 and is literally bullying me all over the place. Even If i go somewhere else, he shows up and laughs his strawberry floating ass off.

I wish there was a button you could plea for mercy or something.

This made me giggle at a tram stop. People looked at me all weird.

Just started this today and I'm really enjoying it. AC: Unity is going to need to do a fair bit to not feel old and staid in comparison.

How much bigger than the first map area is the whole thing?

I enjoyed this game as well, (it was hard to begin with though). There is just no incentive to play it after the very short story.

Which is why I always do a mix of main and side story and side quests.

Second map is around same size as first. I think. What I can say for certain though is that there is plenty to do on it.

Preezy, the link didn't like the '&list=' bit. This should work:

I'm actually terrified of seeing that bastard now. I just run now every time, no strawberry floating way am I fighting him. I hit him 40 times his health bar barely even moves.

I'll come back for him when I'm stronger, faster and more deadly.

Do you know his weaknesses? Do you know how to learn of his weaknesses?

I'm up to the part where I have to brand the 4 Warchiefs and struggling to find the motivation to continue. I get the impression that's going to be a massive ball ache to do. Am I nearing the end?

It's really easy to do all you need to do is get one of the warchief's branded and then get them to riot with one of the other warchiefs then during the riot go down kick the unbranded warchief's arse and brand him. It's much easier than taking on a warchief and his followers on single handedly as you have the branded warchief and his cronies to help.

Nice tip, thanks I'll give that a try!

I just went after their bodyguards one at a time, then activated them when facing the warchief. Either you brand the chief in the ensuing melee, or he dies and one of his already branded bodyguards takes his place; a win-win situation.

I'm really enjoying this. Looks great, too.

My only complaint is that the combat is a rip of Batman, but not quite as good. Managing huge numbers of enemies with your standard melee, stun, counter, dodge is often not really workable.

Not sure why the colour balance has come out all blue/green in these, but whatever. The photo mode is a welcome addition.

I've been playing this for the last week or so, it's brilliant. There is a blatant rip of the batman games for the combat and AC for the exploration and the climbing.

The setting within middle earth and orcs/Uruk as the enemy is a fantastic idea. The original idea of the nemesis system is awesome, really cool and I love how you gather intel about various players and then adopt a strategy to take them down.

It's a tough game, I've not had too much trouble in general apart from 2 guys (one keeps poisoning me and one can't he countered or jumped over, both are now rank 28s). Looking forward to keeping going, great game.

Harry I'm getting some strong soul reaver vibes from those screens, is it like that at all?

I found this looking through the game's codex, on the entry for Mordor bats. I'm taking it as tacit confirmation of those rumours that this used to be a Batman game before Warner stepped in and said "nope - LotR licence, bitches".

Just picked this up on the US PSN flash sale. Opening pretty good, can't wait to get stuck in.
