Well I played it at 800x600 and I'm sure it went higher.

The 3d models could use a makeover, but obviously the prerendered backdrops are fine. It'd need to be refitted for widescreen of course.

Minimal work though.

Wasn't Grim Fandango mainly controlled with the WASD keys?

Its been a while since I played so I'm probably wrong.

Nope, you're right. It was bitch to control as well at first as well.

Yep, no pointy clicky.

I played it all with a pad, which was definitely the easiest way to play IMO.

It's perfect for XBLA.

So a :fp: for Suzzopher then?

Would it be worth redoing the environments in full 3D as well or does everyone think that would ruin Grim Fandango?

I never had the chance to properly play it but over XBLA it would be a day one purchase. :D

Just buy it now, it's cheapeer than it would be on XBLA, and it's strawberry floating fantastic.

I'm surprised that the Super Star Wars trilogy of games haven't been released on the virtual console in Europe. I'm even more surprised that there's been no outcry from Star Wars fans in Europe about this (given how much Star Wars fans like to bit©h and whine about everything).

(I've already got the three games on the SNES so whether or not they're released on the virtual console in Europe is academic to me.)

I will also poo on someone if this happens o/

I would instantly buy a new pc and Joystick for this. Frankly they are quite possibly the best Star Wars games ever made.

This would also be awesome. However, there are loads of modern gaming options if you want to play as a Jedi/Sith: KOTOR, TFU, SCIV, Lego SW. The reason people want an X-Wing remake is because Lucasarts seem to have completely erased the original trilogy's ships from their collective minds, and space flight sims are pretty thin on the ground anyway.

So it's the entire Jedi Knight series on Steam according to Rllmuk,

Jedi Knight, MOTS, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.

I might have to buy those - JO online was AMAZING.

I never played MOTS, so I might pick that up if it's cheap.

I don't see any point in doing that. You'd still want the camera angles, so there would be no benefit to 3d. It's not an action game after all. At best it would be pointless, at worst it would break the game.
