Another cracking episode.

Some similar slight oddities in the story, took them about 10 minutes to find the killer  and Luther being clearly too unstable to be on job.

Aside from those I really enjoyed it, I know the 'relationship' with Alice is a huge leap but I really enjoy it and it seems like it's going to be a cracking thread running through the series. I loved the plot point of murdering cops and the killer being so strawberry floating ruthless, really punched home the events every time they were ramped up.

Turning out to be a cracking show, much, much better than I thought it was going to be, Idris Elba is awesome.

Yeah, thought it was good tonight. Idris is superb.

One thing I liked was that in the background of the roof shots you could see Palestra House, where TfL have their offices. I've been to a couple of meetings there and an ex-colleague now works there (it's really nice inside). It's this one, if anyone gives a gooseberry fool:

Much better episode than the first, I loved the scene when he confronted Lynch. Not a big fan of the Alice storyline though it's just too weird. And I guess she'll be killing Paul McGann at some point and no-one gets to kill Paul McGann.

Sorry Herbi, I have been watching this from the start but didn’t see your thread!

I think so far it is a cracking show. Lots of drama, some funny bits and overall quite clever. I loved the idea in the first episode of the being hidden inside the dog! You have to suspend belief a little when it comes to him not arresting the woman, but I think she is going to be an important part of the show.

Second episode was even better though. Loved the idea of the merciless shooter and Sean Pertwee is always awesome. Looks like he is going to become friends/lovers with the killer woman (can't remember her name) which could be interesting. I reckon McGann will either be killed or turn out to be a psycho at some point.

Good episode last night but I'm not sure about the psycho redhead part.

Anyone got a download link for the first episode? :shifty:

Think you're probably right about McGann.

Alice storyline is weird but I loved that line of dialogue at the end "one cup of coffee doesn't make us friends", there's just something about that whole scene and the way Luther sort of comes round to her that I really liked.

Anyone else think she's hot.....

.... And, in a weird way, think her psychoness makes her hotter? :shifty:

I wasn't too sure about this after seeing Idris on the Jonathan Ross Show but I have been pleasantly surprised by this.

Idris brings menacing physical presence to the character, which is not something you usually find in Brit detective dramas.

Mrs OS has really got into it too, so I am hoping that this might make her want to watch The Wire now.

I saw the latest episode. I really enjoyed it and thought the devil worshipper bloke was excellent.

Did anyone else spot Tyres from Spaced? I had to look it up after to check that it was him. :D

Didn't spot him, where was he? I thought the devil worshipper was great too, I was trying to work out what I had seen in him before then it dawned on me that he was in Being Human. He must be first on the "Creepy Guy" casting list.
